The federal government’s top environmental lawyer discussed climate change litigation, the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and the role of the Department of Justice in environmental policy in recent remarks at the ���ϳԹ��� School of Law.

The ���ϳԹ��� International Criminal Court Moot Court team competed in the America round of the world-wide competition on March 14 and 15 - the first ICC competition to be held entirely online with video oral arguments due to restrictions related to the coronavirus.

Last summer, third-year law student Kristina Aiad-Toss spent two months in El Salvador interning for International Partners in Mission (IPM), a non-profit that engages in community development projects abroad to help women and children in 66 countries.

On February 15, the ���ϳԹ��� Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Team received the highest average score of the 10 competing teams in the EODID Athens Vis Pre-Moot competition. The team was represented by 3Ls Teresa Azzam and Kathleen Burke.

Former FBI Director James Comey spent two hours with Adjunct Professors Jonathan Leiken and Caitlin Bell’s White Collar Crime students on Tuesday, February 11.  Professor Leiken worked for Mr. Comey as an AUSA at the U.S.

We are happy to announce that our faculty has been ranked among the top in the nation in scholarly impact.  

���ϳԹ��� School of Law’s Jessup International Law Moot Court Team went undefeated over the weekend in the Chicago Regional Competition held Feb. 7-9, 2020. The team went 4-0 and was the top seed out of 24 law schools after the preliminary rounds.

When Professor Wendy Wagner of the University of Texas School of Law was working on her book, "Incomprehensible! A study of how our legal system encourages incomprehensibility, why it matters, and what we can do about it," she asked Professor Juliet Kostritsky, the director of ���ϳԹ��� law school's Center for Business Law, for comments on the draft chapter on Consumer Protection.

Surveys indicate that there is growing interest among prospective law students in public interest law, which includes work for the government, Legal Aid and other non-profits.
