University Health and Counseling Services (UH&CS) is excited to pilot a new sexual health education program this semester, open to all ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø) students. The Let's Talk About Sex...ual Health series provides students with evidence-based education on topics including female and male reproductive anatomy, contraception, and menstruation.
The program is designed to foster an open, judgment-free environment where students can ask questions, gain accurate information, and enhance their understanding of how to care for their sexual and reproductive health.
As part of this pilot, UH&CS is conducting an internal research study to evaluate the effectiveness of the program in increasing student knowledge and awareness of these topics. All ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø students are welcome to attend the program; however, participation in the research component is voluntary.
Students who choose to participate in the research will be asked to complete brief surveys before and after the program. Only students who are 18 years of age or older are eligible to participate in the research portion. If you choose not to participate in the research pre and post surveys are encouraged and welcome to still attend the program.
Your participation will help UH&CS improve sexual health programming for the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø community.
For questions or more information about the program or the research study, please contact Mary Halm (mxh1034@case.edu).
