This exceptional leader and innovator will have the opportunity to shape the future of one of the nation’s top dental schools. This individual will carry on the school’s legacy of excellence in education, research, and clinical practice while fostering the next generation of transformative healthcare leaders, educators, and researchers.

Importantly, the dean will support the advancement of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø President Eric W. Kaler’s three institutional priorities: to elevate academic excellence, expand the research enterprise, and enhance community engagement and impact.

Listening Sessions

The School of Dental Medicine Dean Search Advisory Committee hosted a series of Zoom listening sessions for key stakeholder groups. These sessions provided an opportunity for participants to share their perspectives on the qualities and experience desired in the next dean.

The sessions took place on the following dates:

  • Faculty listening session: June 16, 2–3 p.m.
  • Staff listening session: June 16, 3:30–4:30 p.m.
  • Student listening session: June 17, 4–5 p.m.
