WEWS: The City of Cleveland teamed up with Cleveland State University and ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø through the Internet of Things, or IOT Collaborative, to create a deployable smart camera system that recognizes illegal dumping as it's taking place and reports it to law enforcement. Nick Barendt, executive director of the Institute for Smart, Secure, Connected Systems, said field testing will take place in the coming months.
