The Department of Biochemistry is very proud every year to recognize graduating seniors who have excelled academically or in their research.
Students completing either a B.A. or B.S. in Biochemistry who are co-authors on a submitted or published research paper and who have achieved an overall GPA of at least 3.6 may receive their degree "with honors in Biochemistry." Faculty research mentors should send a nomination email confirming the co-authored publication to the undergraduate program director.
