Leading expert speaks on the current state of the compliance industry

On April 21, the Compliance, Risk Management and Financial Integrity Institute hosted a lecture by Tom Fox on current events in compliance. Fox, who teaches as part of the Compliance and Risk Management Program at the School of Law, is a leading voice in the compliance industry. He is an author of several seminal books in the compliance field, and he regularly produces and contributes to leading compliance podcasts and blogs.

His lecture focused on emerging issues within the compliance industry and how the industry is evolving. His presentation examined how the transition from the Biden administration to the Trump administration has altered the landscape regarding being a compliance professional, and how such professionals can navigate that new landscape. He noted that there has never been a more important time to be a compliance professional

The Compliance, Risk Management and Financial Integrity Institute promotes cutting-edge research in the emerging field of compliance. The Institute is designed to support ϳԹ School of Law’s master and certificate programs in Compliance and Risk Management, which exist to meet the steadily increasing demand by businesses and government agencies for experts in the state, federal, and international laws and regulations that form the basis for the compliance industry.
