Student Name Pronunciations

Foster connection with students by learning how to pronounce their names.

If a student has recorded their name pronunciation, it is available to you in the Hear Name column of the Departmental Admin Center roster. You can also look up an individual student through the Student Services Center.

Advisor/Advisee Report

An Advisor/Advisee Information workbook is available in the University’s Data Portal ().

This report allows you to:

  • review advisors in your department currently assigned to students as faculty leave the university

  • view the distribution of advisees amongst advisors in your department

  • download a list of advisees’ email addresses for use during the promotion and tenure process

After logging into data.case.edu, select > ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Analytics > Explore >SIS - Student Records > Advisor_Advisee Information.

The reports available within the workbook are:

Advisor/Advisee Information - Select one or more filters on the left, then use the Term filter to select the appropriate term(s). Select the latest term for current advisor assignments.

Advisor/Advisee Count - Use the filters on the left to drill down to your desired results. This report will allow you to see advisors’ workload over time by selecting multiple terms. If you hover over the Advisor Name column header, a plus sign will appear which, when clicked will expand a Student Career column. From the Student Career header, you can click the plus sign to expand the Advisor Role column. From this column header you can expand the Student Name column.

Student Email List - Use this report to download an unduplicated list of advisees when you need to contact them such as when an advisor is being considered for promotion and tenure.

Advisor/Advisee Information-Download Friendly - Use this report when you want to download results into Excel for further analysis.

 

Past Graduates Report

Looking for an easy way to see which of your students have recently graduated? We have a report for you in the university's data portal!

To access this report, go to . Log in if you're not already logged in to Single Sign-On (SSO). Select ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Analytics, then choose the folder SIS - Student Records and the workbook Awarded Degrees/Certificates. Within the workbook, you'll find the report Awarded Degrees/Certificates.

Use the filters on the left to narrow your results by completion term, academic plan, degree, and more.

Need counts of the number of graduates over a period of time? E.g., how many PhDs has your department awarded in the last 10 years? Try >General Institutional >Degrees >Degrees by Plan.
