What’s the future of 75-year-old Superman? Find out during ”A Salute to the Man of Steel”

After 75 years, is Superman—the politically, artistically and culturally radical character created by two young Clevelanders—ready for a retirement home? Or a coup d'etat? Hear from experts on this topic and more at “The Superman Revolution: A Salute to the Man of Steel.” This panel, planned in anticipation of the anniversary of Action Comics #1 (the first appearance of Superman), will include SAGES Fellow Brad Ricca (moderator), radio/TV historian Mike Olszewski, Plain Dealer reporter Michael Sangiacomo and others. The discussion will be held Tuesday, March 19, at 6 p.m. in Clark Hall 206, and is free and open to the public. The panel is sponsored by the Pop Culture Research Working Group.
