Industry Week: Jenny Hawkins, an associate professor at Weatherhead School of Management, contributed her perspective to a story about what it will take for Youngstown to retool itself after an onslaught of job losses in heavy manufacturing. The smaller steel and components companies that are still chugging along in Youngstown, plus momentum in “all these different little industries with electric vehicle batteries, electric vehicles, additive manufacturing” have critical mass, she said.
