Members of the ϳԹ community are invited to join the for the opening of its “War Games: Tactical Media” exhibition, which surveys the longstanding and tangled relationship between video games and the U.S. military.
The exhibition opening will be held Friday, Feb. 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Sears think[box] gallery.
Attendees will have the chance to explore this history through an extensive media archive and play military-themed video games, including the latest entry in the blockbuster Call of Duty franchise, and Discharged, an artist-made game that critiques the U.S. military’s use of video games to recruit teens.
