Real Homes: Sarah Warner, greenhouse manager at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Farm, shared her recommendation on how to prune lilacs in the spring. "You can deadhead after the flower is spent and turned brown. Prune it at the base and will conserve energy for the tree. If the lilac is too tall, take out the largest branches and cut those at the base," she said.
