Sept. 23-27 is National Hazing Awareness Week! Across the country, students and the people who care about them will pause to learn more about hazing and take action to prevent and respond to hazing. What else can you do? You are welcome to attend programs, watch movies, read books, or visit any of a number of websites such as and . An important thing you can do is interrupt hazing when you think it might be happening. First, if anyone is in immediate danger, call 216.368.3333 (on-campus) or 911. You can also report hazing through the CCRS process (Community Concerns Reporting System), and you can even do that anonymously. Not sure where to report? It’s OK to raise the question and talk it through with someone in the Office of the Dean of Students, the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards, or other trusted advisor.
