Allison Dorsey, professor of history at Swarthmore College, will give the guest lecture for the Postdoctoral Fellowship in African American Studies Friday, April 5.
Dorsey will speak on "Race, Wills, and 'Family:’ Securing Land and Opportunity in Redeemed Georgia."
The talk is free and open to the public, and will begin at 12:30 p.m. in Mather House Room 100.
