The Office for Sustainability will host its second annual Root Rake Out Saturday, Oct. 27, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the windmill outside the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center.
The event will begin with a discussion on the harms of incorrect mulching practices and how to correct them. Then, at 10:30 a.m., participants will improve tree mulching on campus, beginning near the windmill and moving through Case Quad.
All equipment, as well as muffins or scones and coffee, will be provided.
