The Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative will host its fifth Research Equity, Accessibility, Diversity, and Inclusion Special Populations Roundtable Talk Friday, May 26, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.
This talk will cover disabilities, with a focus on communication disorders and deaf/hard of hearing.
Jennell Vick, executive director of the , and Timothy Skaggs, director of the , will lead the discussion. An American Sign Language interpreter will be present.
Attendees will learn about communication disorders and deaf/hard of hearing communities and strategies for integrating and planning for inclusion of individuals with communication disorders/deaf/hard of hearing in their research programs and studies.
