Ita Rebecca Kaiserman-Abramof, professor emerita of anatomy, passed away earlier this month. Kaiserman-Abramof had a long career at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, teaching from 1971 to 2015.
Prior to arriving at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, Kaiserman-Abramof graduated from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Brazil (where she was born) with a degree in biology. She was a postdoctoral scholar at Harvard University from 1964 to 1967, before joining the faculty at Boston University Medical Campus.
