Political Science's Justin Buchler explains impact of third-party political candidates

The Cincinnati EnquirerJustin Buchler, associate professor in the Department of Political Science at the College of Arts and Sciences, explained how third-party political candidates generally don't win elections, but they instead can serve as a spoiler for one or both major-party candidates. They have the potential to flip outcomes because the electorate is so closely divided, he said.
