Jeremy Bendik-Keymer, the Elmer G. Beamer-Hubert H. Schneider Professor in Ethics, wrote an op-ed for Hyperallergic about how reconsidering the aesthetics of protests could lead to more effective outcomes. In his article, titled “Reconsidering the Aesthetics of Protest,” he explained the three factors he believe should be addressed: setting, timing and purpose.
