Nabil F. Bissada, professor and chair of the Department of Periodontics, was appointed editor-in-chief of The Journal of Dentistry during the “International Conference on Dental and Oral Health,” which was held Aug. 19-21 in Las Vegas.
The Journal of Dentistry is a leading international dental journal within the field of restorative dentistry. Placing an emphasis on publishing novel and high-quality research papers, the journal aims to influence the practice of dentistry at the clinician, research, industry and policy-maker levels internationally.
Bissada has published hundreds of clinical and scientific journal articles throughout his tenure and has received numerous awards for teaching excellence and clinical expertise.
