The LGBT Center will host an Open Safe Zone workshop on the topic of advocacy on Thursday, March 12, from 1-3 p.m. in the first-floor conference room of Tinkham Veale University Center.
Safe Zone Advocate will build upon its preceding workshop, Friend, to explore how unconscious bias and microaggressions may create unsafe spaces for LGBTQ+ people and engage with scenarios to learn to respond to interpersonal bias. It is requested that only those who attended Safe Zone Friend register to attend Safe Zone Advocate.
