Student Activities and Leadership hopes to bring together members of the ϳԹ community (students as well as faculty and staff) with diverse talents in one welcoming, laid-back setting for Open Mic Nights.
The first Open Mic Night of the year will be Thursday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. in The Spot (Leutner Commons).
Individuals of all skill levels are welcome to get on stage and sing a song, dance, play an instrument, recite a poem, or give the audience a laugh. All are welcome to either participate or to watch others perform.
Fair trade coffee and tea will be served along with desserts.
A microphone and keyboard will be provided, but those who need other instruments will need to bring their own.
Performances will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with no need to pre-register.
