Office of Sustainability invites employees to participate in NEO Clean Air Challenge

ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø employees can participate in the NEO Clean Air Challenge, a friendly competition aimed at reducing air pollution by lowering greenhouse gases produced during commutes. The competition is a part of the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency’s , which the university competes in annually. Last year, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø was awarded silver status. To participate in the challenge, employees should log their commutes via . Participants can log up to two trips per day, whether they are via car, bus, walking, bike or any other means. Commutes can be retroactively logged for two weeks. Employees who log their commute provide the Office for Sustainability with valuable data about the university's carbon footprint. The first 25 ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø employees who log at least two weeks (10 days) worth of round-trip commutes during June will receive an invite for a July celebration breakfast and green giveaways.
