Nursing's Shanina Knighton examines safety of reusing aluminum foil

Martha StewartShanina Knighton, adjunct associate professor at Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, said reusing aluminum foil is generally safe, but warned that improper cleaning can lead to microbial contamination. She advised against reusing foil with food residue, deep creases or moisture, as trapped cleaning agents or bacteria pose risks.
