Med's Betul Hatipoglu says people who have high blood sugar are at higher risk for vascular disease, nerve damage, and inflammation


Women’s HealthBetul Hatipoglu, professor of medicine, said there is a higher risk of vascular disease, nerve damage, and inflammation in people who have high blood sugar and type 2 diabetes. Whether these can be reversed is unknown. “We know improving blood sugar will always help,” said Hatipoglu.
