ϳԹ's first standalone Parent and Family Weekend marked three days of excitement, connection and community spirit as students’ loved ones came to campus Sept. 27–29.
From Friday to Sunday, family members had the chance to reconnect with their students, experience campus life and engage with our vibrant community through a wide range of events. These included a welcome event in Tinkham Veale University Center, a Friends & Family Night in Thwing Center, and film screenings hosted by the .
The co-hosted a “Ballpark Bonanza” as well, welcoming families and students to Progressive Field to watch a Guardians game alongside ϳԹ’s mascot, Spartie. Plus, there was a ribbon-cutting ceremony Saturday, during which guests toured in the Dental Research Building.

This year marked the first that Parent and Family Weekend was separate from Homecoming and Reunion Weekend, which will be celebrated this year Nov. 14–17.
