LinkedIn purchases Lynda.com; unlimited access to video training to continue through LinkedIn Learning

LinkedIn has purchased , the video training site. ϳԹ community members will continue to have the same unlimited access through the university, at no additional cost, under the new name of .

The ϳԹ portal to will be closed for up to 18 hours to allow for the transition, which is scheduled to be completed Thursday, Aug. 8. Registered users at ϳԹ will receive a notification email from LinkedIn Learning two days before the upgrade, as well as a welcome email when the site reopens.

To use the site, users will need to register with a LinkedIn account or sign up for a new LinkedIn Learning account. Access will still be behind the ϳԹ Single Sign-On log-in.

Saved content, “my videos” tracking and other key usage/reporting features maintained for individual accounts will remain intact and up-to-date for all current users after the transition is completed. The upgraded site will contain the same content from , with a new interface and suite of tools from LinkedIn.
