The Office of Education Abroad will host an information session for all students to learn about the benefits of studying abroad and courses available for spring break study abroad.
The will take place in the Tomlinson Hall first floor conference room on Friday, Nov. 8, from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m. At this session, students can learn about the many available study abroad opportunities offered by the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Office of Education Abroad.
Some of the many options include:
will be offered by the Department of Modern Languages. This short-term study abroad course will explore Jordan from north to south in all its historic splendor and physical beauty, as well as give students insights on the cultures, history, human rights, politics and diplomacy of this unique country.
(SASS 325/575) will be offered by the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. This course will offer participants the opportunity to travel to the Netherlands and learn how treatment agencies work in a variety of settings. Students will interact with Dutch scholars, clinicians, managers and clients. This course satisfies the Global and Cultural Diversity requirement, social science credit for engineering students or may count toward the new social work minor. (BETH 315/415) will be offered by the Department of Bioethics. This three-credit course is a unique opportunity to examine a range of Dutch and American end-of-life policies and practices with special focus on the unique ethical, cultural, religious and legal contexts in which they developed.More information can be found at case.edu/studyabroad.
