Brennan Professor Emeritus of Law, questioned the feasibility of President Donald Trump’s proposed 50-50 deal for U.S. ownership of TikTok. “A joint venture doesn't seem like it would sever the foreign connection required by law,” Entin said, adding challenges could arise over national security and statutory compliance.
