U.S. News & World Report: Jonathan Adler, the Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law, weighed in on whether Justice Clarence Thomas should have participated in the Jan. 6 Supreme Court case—or if he should in potential future ones—given his wife’s conduct. “You can certainly find the Ginni Thomas texts disturbing on their own merits,” Adler said. “And it's certainly embarrassing. But in terms of whether a recusal is required, it really depends on the specific case."
