Los Angeles Times: Jonathan Adler, the Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law, noted that the U.S. Supreme Court recently upheld legislation in some states requiring a photo ID to vote, which could present more of a hurdle than wearing a mask. Restricting in-person voting for public health reasons would probably be legal, as long as other options, such as mail-in ballots, are available, Adler said.
