Law's David Kutik discusses new online tool providing 24/7 support to victims of domestic abuse

David Kutik, adjunct professor at the School of Law, discussed Ohio Legal Help’s online tool providing support to domestic abuse victims in an opinion piece published by . 

Kutik, who currently serves as board president of Ohio Legal Help, explained how the tool was developed with low-income populations in need of legal assistance in mind. The tool takes users to a confidential site where they can fill out forms to request a civil protection order. The site is also equipped with a “safety exit” button, which allows users to instantly save their progress and redirect to a different page in case their abuser is in the area.
