La Dolce Vita, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø's Italian Club, will host its biggest celebration of the year on Thursday, Feb. 20, from 6-8:30 p.m. in Thwing Center Atrium.
Carnevale, or Martedi Grasso, traditionally represents one last day of feasting before the 40 long days and nights of Lent leading up to Easter. The event is a club gathering, not a religious event, (and is not held on the true Martedi Grasso) but rather a celebration of food, friends, and culture. Italian food and pastries will be catered from establishments in Little Italy and activities such as trivia will be available.
