Cleveland.com: John Grabowski, the Krieger-Mueller Joint Professor in History, shared some of the similarities between the current coronavirus outbreak and the 1918 flu pandemic: “They were doing then exactly the same thing we’re doing now,” said Grabowski, who is also the editor of the Encyclopedia of Cleveland History. “It’s somewhat an eerily similar situation.”
