“Good, Clean, Fair: Slow food’s call to action”

The College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures will present “Good, Clean, Fair: Slow food’s call to action,” an informative talk and discussion with Mary Holmes, chapter leader of Slow Food Cleveland. The event will take place Thursday, Sept. 6, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center's Senior Classroom.

About the speaker

Holmes co-founded the North Union Farmers Market in 1995 and has taught courses at ϳԹ about the American food system. She has been a co-advisor to the Slow Food on Campus student organization at ϳԹ. Holmes received her bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, her master's degree in teaching from Johns Hopkins University and her master of business administration from Harvard University.
