Rigoberto Advincula, professor of macromolecular science and engineering, recently gave a plenary talk at a 3-D printing a forum in the Philippines. His talk, titled “3-D Printing: Innovationeering Materials and Design,” was part of the Engineering Research and Development for Technology's second Frontiers in Engineering Forum Series.
Jill Manapat, Jerome Palaganas and Napolabel Palaganas, all former visiting scholars at ϳԹ, also gave talks. The scholars worked in Advincula’s lab for a year with scholarships funded by the Department of Science and Technology of the Philippines.
Advincula’s presentation coincided with two recent papers on 3-D printing that were published at the American Chemical Society’s publications.
