Are you looking to get involved during homecoming? Deadlines for student opportunities are approaching.
Homecoming parade watch parties
Student Activities and Leadership is offering student groups the opportunity to sign up for a parade watch party, with locations along Juniper Road and 115th Street. Groups will receive “party packs” with doughnuts, coffee and pompoms.
The deadline to sign up for this opportunity is Oct. 4 at 5 p.m.
Homecoming parade registration
Student groups can get involved during the parade with banners or floats. With this year’s theme of ϳԹ’s Greatest Hits, students can pick a decade to incorporate into their banner or float.
Stephanie Tubbs Jones Homecoming 5K Race and 1-Mile Fun Run
This annual event is held in honor of Stephanie Tubbs-Jones, who embodied the spirit of community and Spartan pride.
All proceeds from the race directly benefit a current undergraduate student at ϳԹ.
This year’s event will be held Saturday, Oct. 7, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. on the north side of campus.
