Members of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø community and local neighbors are invited to participate in the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Neighborhood Advisory Council Community Dinner Friday, Nov. 17, at 5:30 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom.

The Community Dinner is a free annual event hosted by the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC), co-supported by the Office of Local Government and Community Relations in the Office of the President, and the Community Innovation Network at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences. The NAC represents the community as a chartered university organization that advises the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø administration on relevant issues, programs and projects that impact Cleveland neighborhoods adjacent to campus and East Cleveland.

At the community dinner, attendees will learn about university leadership’s community engagement priorities and the NAC over a shared meal. NAC members will facilitate table discussions and give attendees a chance to provide feedback about ºÚÁϳԹÏ꿉۪s current community engagement activities and opportunities, all with the intention of exploring what it means to be a “good neighbor.â€

Dinner will begin at 6 p.m., with appetizers in the ballroom atrium served at 5:30 p.m. Registration is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Children are welcome, and safe and free childcare will be available, if needed. Older children will have the chance to join in engaging activities or be part of the conversation.

Free parking for non-ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø guests is available and may be requested at registration. Alternative transportation arrangements may be made on an individual basis (more details are available on the registration page).

Additional information is available in the registration page FAQs. Those with questions can email communityrelations@case.edu or call 216.368.1723.
