He will discuss his career journey in design and innovation from earning his MBA at ϳԹ to working for Goodyear, and how entrepreneurship and innovation work within a larger organization.
Diaz Salazar, originally from Costa Rica, joined Goodyear in 2015. He led efforts to identify new opportunities in the mobility space in Silicon Valley and established Goodyear's digital innovation lab there. He also helped establish the company's investment arm. Diaz Salazar created the Goodyear Innovation Challenge, a national business design and innovation competition for masters-level students, sponsored in collaboration between Goodyear and ϳԹ.
Lauren Butia, who is pursuing her bachelor’s and master’s in biomedical engineering, will facilitate the discussion.
