Four members of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø community were selected for ’s Homegrown Heroes honor, which recognized individuals who are making an economic impact in Cleveland. They are:
- , a PhD candidate in nursing, in the medical innovation category;
- , the F. Alex Nason Professor II of Biomedical Engineering, in the artificial intelligence category;
- , the Ingalls Professor of Cancer Genetics, in the academic research category; and
- , professor in the Department of Genetics and Genome Sciences, in the academic research category.
In total, 11 individuals were honored with the awards at a ceremony held last month.
