Join the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship to learn about the history of the Hough neighborhood with the Cleveland Neighborhood Series.
The first installment, titled "History of Hough," will take place today (Oct. 5) at 1:30 p.m. The discussion will include John Grabowski (GRS '77), the Krieger-Mueller Joint Professor in History, and Don Freeman (CWR '61), retired director of the League Park Center. Darrell Butler (CWR '20) will facilitate this discussion.
The second session, titled "Hough Entrepreneurship," will be held Tuesday, Oct. 6, at 1:30 p.m. via Zoom. This session will be led by Michael Goldberg, executive director of the Veale Institute, with Jamel Rahkeera, founder of Village Family Farms, Mansfield Frazier, founder of Chateau Hough, and Maya Melton, founder of DressedTuKale.
The final session of the Cleveland Neighborhood Series, titled "Hough Community Development," will be held Thursday, Oct. 8, at 1:30 p.m.
This three-part Cleveland Neighborhood Series on Hough will be held in collaboration with the ϳԹ Social Justice Institute, KeyBank Business Boost & Build and Venture for America. The series is a subset of the ϳԹ Entrepreneurship Speaker Series focusing on different neighborhoods in Cleveland.
