In collaboration with campus and community partners, the Center for Civic Engagement & Learning (CCEL) will continue its new monthly series highlighting a different form of civic engagement that contributes to social change. September’s theme is “Community Service.” Students can explore one of the many opportunities to engage this month, and stay tuned to the Social Change Series website for upcoming opportunities.
Civic Engagement Scholars
Apply by Sept. 20 to be a Civic Engagement Scholar for the 2020-2021 academic year. Participate in educational events and civic engagement activities intended to deepen your understanding of social change and meaningful community engagement.
Culture, Community & Public Service Virtual Career Fair
Attend the Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. to connect with prospective employers about internships, co-ops, practicum and full-time employment.
CCEL Serves Pop-Up Projects
Serve with other ϳԹ students in a remote or on-campus CCEL Serves Pop-Up Project. Service projects will be added to throughout the semester.
