BIPOC+ Support Space offered via Zoom and in person this semester

BIPOC+ Support Space is a scheduled, 30-minute, one-on-one, confidential Zoom consultation for students who are looking for a space to talk, needing input on a mental health concern, and/or searching for a safe outlet to discuss their experiences on campus and beyond.

Students meet with:

  • Naomi Drakeford, director of clinical counseling services, equity and inclusion with University Health and Counseling Services; or
  • Samuel (Sammy) Ocasio-Domínguez, multicultural specialist with University Health and Counseling Services.

BIPOC+ Support Space is open to all ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland Institute of Music, Kent State University College of Podiatry and Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine students.

BIPOC+ Support Space meets Mondays via Zoom from 2 to 3 p.m. and Thursdays in-person from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
