Grunge: Daniel Flannery, the Semi J. and Ruth W. Begun Professor and director of the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education, said that an increase in drug use and domestic violence, coupled with isolation, are contributing factors to the uptick in homicides in 2020.
