Alumni Weekend offers fun, engagement for entire ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø community

As ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø alumni from around the country return to campus for Alumni Weekend, faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the exciting lineup of events that are open only to the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø university community. Registration is required and tickets are limited; visit . The weekend kicks off Thursday, Oct. 13, with BlueBash, a one-of-a-kind celebration featuring a special announcement and Goo Goo Dolls in concert, presented by University Program Board. Come at 6:45 p.m. for free pre-concert refreshments and an . Friday programs include morning and afternoon —an all-new series of discussions, classes and panels, led by ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø alumni, faculty experts and community members. THINK Forums cover an array of timely and thought-provoking topics, from alumnus Bernard Jim’s popular class, Puzzled!, to the School of Medicine’s Moving the Needle on Urban Health: The Role of Health Education Today. Plus, don’t miss No. 1 New York Times best-selling author Richard North Patterson (LAW '71) discussing his most recent novel, The Devil’s Light. Patterson’s talk takes place Oct. 15 at 1:30 p.m. in Ford Auditorium. The university community is also invited to The Alumni House on Saturday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m. to watch the Homecoming parade, followed by a tailgate lunch at Leutner Commons and ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø Spartans Football vs. Hiram College. The tailgate begins at 11:30 a.m. and kickoff is at 1 p.m. The weekend concludes on Sunday at 3 p.m. with the 6th Annual Stephanie Tubbs Jones (FSM '71, LAW '74) Gospelfest, held at John Hay High School.
