From to and , today’s students at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø are impressive. Their efforts build upon those of the generations of students to come before them, each of whom made a lasting impact on ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s history.
Legacy Week exists to celebrate those contributions, past and present. Organized each spring by the Office of Student Activities and Leadership and the , the week involves programming and traditions that honor facets of the university’s extensive history—both on campus and beyond—no matter how big or small.
Whether you’re a first-year student or pursuing your graduate degree, there are many ways you can celebrate ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s ever-evolving story during Legacy Week, which will run from April 24-29. Check out three of our suggestions.
Participate in various week-long programs and events
From trivia contests and bouquet creations to donuts with deans in the Office of Student Affairs, there are plenty of chances for everyone to get involved. And, be sure to keep an eye open for surprise giveaways throughout the week for the chance to win free ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø swag.

Travel back in time with historical exhibits and displays across campus
Uncover campus secrets, view campus photos and artifacts dating back centuries, and gain insight into ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s unique past when you visit the Veale Recreation Center, Rockefeller Hall and other campus buildings across the university. Or, take a leisurely stroll as you dive deeper into ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s history on a walking tour offered Tuesday, April 25.

Cheer on your classmates at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø’s oldest programmed campus tradition
Whether you watch from the sidelines or show your Spartan pride with other community members at The Jolly Scholar’s watch party, see who will go the distance as runners take their mark during the annual , which takes place on Saturday, April 29, starting at 10 a.m.
