From the health benefits of Ozempic to the historic presidential election—as well as the ever-evolving frontiers of science and engineering—ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø faculty were part of the year’s biggest stories.

In 2024, our faculty continued to be key contributors to the national and international dialogue on a range of critical issues, from the growing influence of artificial intelligence to the complexities of global climate change. Their expertise was featured in major media outlets—from CNN to Fox News, and The New York Times to The Washington Post—helping to frame conversations that shaped public policy, business decisions and scientific advancements.

Read on to explore the many ways our faculty not only explained the news behind the headlines, but often shaped the stories themselves.
