Have you ever听wondered why the sky is blue at听noon, red at sunset, and gray on a cloudy day?听听Or if bananas are really yellow? 听Why听mixing blue, red, and green听paint makes brown while mixing the same color lights makes white? 听Why听soap bubbles and oil slicks show听rainbow colors and yellow lighting makes you听sleepy?

From a scientific听perspective, color originates from the visual perception of light interacting听with physical objects. 听Join us for a听discussion on the modern day听theories of color that can be used to answer the questions posed and more.听听Current developments in color听theory and application to consumers will听also be reviewed.
